4 Things All Articles Must Have - Don’t Forget!
The 4 Things You Need to Have in Your Website Articles!
The importance of having articles in websites today, is vital for all internet marketers to be successful. They dictate a lot toward the success and the drive of traffic into one’s site. They are also an important part of your site, in regards to making a profit. If you are a web owner or site operator then the articles you use, will need to work with your topic and you need to have a strong inclination, on which to use and where to use them.
Articles have been known to be the driving force in generating traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings on search result pages. To get the best traffic, you will need to rank as high as you can, on the search engine listing. Because of the large amount of traffic flow, there is more opportunity to make money with other income generating methods too.
It is not just about stuffing your site with articles, they have certain requirements as well. In order to get the most benefits from your articles, your site will need to have each of the requirements. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. By enticing them in this way, they will be more willing to recommend your site to others.
The following tips will help you as you develop the articles you use.
1. Keywords and Keyword Phrases.
The keywords and keyword phrases that you use should always focus around your article. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who merely browse and others that are actually looking for a specific topic. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for; e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera, or it could be anything they want.
That is why it is imperative to have keywords in your article that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able to have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools on the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining, what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. These resources will help you determine the keywords to use in your article.
2. Keyword Density
Now that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. Having effective keyword density is essential in order for a search engine to be aware of it.
Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content, for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Good articles are the best way to move up in ranking.
Basically keyword density is just the number of times you use a keyword or keyword phrase in your article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. Make sure to not make your article keyword density too high or even too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader, as well as the search engines, especially if it comes off as overeager.
But if you do not use enough keywords, then the search engines may not pick up your article.
3. Good Articles
Having good content is another reason why keyword ’overkill’ is a bad idea. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.
People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Providing them with a lot of factual information will better keep their attention. You should make it a goal to be an expert on your chosen topic and to portray that in your article. As more people believe in you, they will be able to trust you and your products.
Another important thing to remember, if you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site.
It is a good idea to have a small information box with information on your site, placed toward the end of the articles that you have in submission. People who enjoyed your article, will most likely want to see more and will click on the link redirecting them back to your site.
